In-Situ Machining: Restoring Accuracy and Enabling Precision in Shipbuilding

Welding during ship construction—particularly in thick structural members—can often cause thermal distortion, misalignment, and surface irregularities that compromise the precise geometry required for critical equipment installation. Our in-situ machining services are designed to restore this dimensional accuracy directly onboard during the shipbuilding process, helping to keep construction schedules on track.

These services play a crucial role in ensuring precision alignment and surface preparation at various stages of ship construction. By enabling machining directly at the site of installation, we support the integration of mechanical, structural, and mission-critical systems with the exacting tolerances demanded by naval and commercial  vessels.

Our experienced machinists, equipped with advanced portable machining systems, routinely perform operations such as line boring, flange facing, and milling—all in full compliance with OEM specifications and shipyard tolerances.

We carry out in-situ machining for the installation of stern gear components, hinge pins for watertight doors, and foundations for thrusters, radars, sonar domes, gun mounts, and other weapons systems. These operations are executed using a combination of proven techniques such as piano wire alignment and state-of-the-art laser measurement equipment to ensure precise measurement and alignment.

Through these capabilities, we ensure system reliability, seamless integration, and alignment across all critical assemblies—supporting faster commissioning, long-term performance, and construction quality that consistently meets or exceeds naval and classification society standards.

Accommodation & Habitability Outfitting: Enhancing Crew Comfort and Operational Readiness

Modern naval and commercial vessels demand not only technical excellence but also superior crew accommodation to support long deployments and ensure onboard efficiency. Our Accommodation & Habitability Outfitting services are designed to deliver functional, durable, and ergonomic living environments that meet the highest standards of maritime habitability.
